hey guys!! i just received my 20D in the mail yesterday and was playing around with it. what do you guys think of this flower? the flower (albeit white) doesn't really pop for me. do you think i should go with more or less depth of field next time? maybe see if i can get a brighter background? what are your thoughts?

p.s. i'm currently using fotopic for my pictures, but they seem to desaturate my pictures somewhat. (viewing them from my desktop before i load them up to the internet, they are noticeably more colorful). do any of you guys/gals know of a better hosting site? (eg. less image compression)

Nice picture.

If you intend to upload to the web then you should convert to sRGB.

Darkened background and changed hue to add a bit of green.
Sharpened, added contrast and saturation to flower.
Framed and converted to sRGB.

If you have photoshop, you would select Image>mode>RGB.
