Aloha,
Thanks to everyone who has helped with my entry into photography so far. Sunday morning I took some sunrise pictures and was wondering if anyone would comment or give suggestions to take better pictures.

Mahalo!

I like the light in the second shot, and my favourite is the last shot. C&C-wise, the first and last shots could do with their horizons straightened. It can often improve a photo not to have a straight 50/50 split between land (or water) and sky. For instance in the last shot there is not too much of interest at the bottom of the photo until the sunlight reflections. In contrast there is a lot of interesting cloud. So I would have been tempted to angle the camera up slightly in this case. Of course it is easy saying all this with hindsight. ;)

They both look nice but not sharp enough.
Advice about photography eh?

I was in Oahu back in December. First time ever. I really miss it.

Here's cheesy live cam of Waikiki in front of the Duke. Brings back memories eventhough it wasn't too long ago!
