Welcome to the forum from Nova Scotia. Beautiful first post. Great composition and colours. The water droplets on the rose are nice and sharp. Nice bokeh. Thanks for sharing.

Very very nice. I also love using roses as subjects, they are very cooperative. The color is beautiful.

Thank you Anthony... I was experimenting with getting as close as possible without a Macro lens. The macro lens intrique me, but just not sure I need one and if I do what do I need. I am starting to research them now and there is a great macro thread on this site.
