clematis in bloom

this was an experiment, setting my XT to Parameter 2. I've looked at it so long I can't tell how it turned out.

I love this shot. I like your composition. One thing, and it's minor. I think the gutter is a slight distraction. I noticed you have image editing turned on. I took the liberties of removing the gutter in PS. I hope you don't mind. I really like your shot.

i was going to say the same thing about the gutter. I found it very distracting but i liked the image a lot otherwise. good work.

thanks for everyone's comments. And I agree about the gutter, but don't have the necessary skills yet for removing same.
As for the plant itself, it's a tough cookie - been transplanted numerous times, been hit with weed-killer twice, and several slips have been donated to neighbors. And it blooms repeatedly over the season. Have no idea what I've done to make it so happy, but it certainly does its bit to brighten my days.
