Whata shot. Captured it at the right moment, with the lizard in it's beak.

Could be a Little Blue Heron, or even a Tri-Colored Heron - but it all depends on where you took the pic. Was it captive?

Nice pic, LOVE the dinner menu!

I vote Little Blue Heron. Nice shot too, but pity it was in the shade.

Thanks for the comments! Little Blue Heron is winning so far. Yea it was a shame he was in the shade, I was thinking fill flash all the way, but was lucky to get him at all. He was just outside my hotel, the Yacht Club on Disney's property, but wasn't part of an exhibit. I had been out all day looking for something to shoot with the new 100mm Macro, but was pretty disapointed with most of the stuff. I was sitting on my first floor balcony around 4pm. The woods/wetland area comes to around 30 feet of the hotel right there. I heard something rustle in the bushes, and the ground came alive as all of the frogs and lizzards started scampering! The bird came out of the bushes and started looking around, I slipped back in the room and grabbed the camera, and changed from the 100mm to the 70-200 2.8 as quickly as I could. I got back outside as he was walking back towards the woods, I thought I had missed him. I squeezed off a quick burst anyway, and as luck would have it he stopped and looked back at me with the noise of the first shutter click. That was when I realized he had a lizzard in his mouth! This example didn't compress well for the web, I'm going to post a better version on my own website soon, and will pass on the link.

I do know that the 400mm 5.6 is looking pretty affordable all of the sudden!
