I was practicing with my new 70-200L tonight and this is the first time that I have ever taken any wildlife photos before. Please tell me how I can make this better or some tips. C&C Welcome.

Actually, Goose to be more on point. Canada Goose to be exact.
Very nice shot. The only thing IMO that would make it a better shot would be to have the whole reflection in the water. That is just my personal preference.

What a beautiful shot, your 70-200L has served you well. I agree with Zach's point about the reflection though.

Nice composition, it would help if you posted the exif I am looking at this on a crappy monitor at work so I am not certain but the whites appear a bit hot.

Ditto on the reflection. A lower shooting angle, if possible, would also be beneficial here. The colours look good, nice saturation. The whites do look a little hot...but they don't look blown out and I'm sure there are some details in them waiting to be pulled out with some PP. Lastly, the horizon is little tilted to the right...a slight CCW rotation will easily correct this.

All in all an enjoyable shot...:D
