Hi all
I spent last weekend looking for the Harlequin Duck. It's not the easiest duck to capture but I got rather lucky this time.
Hope you like the outcome. Please feel free to comment.

I have added them to my short list of gorgeous ducks: Manadrin, Wood and now also Harlequin. Stan

We in NJ are lucky enough to get nearly the largest population on the east coast in the same area every winter. It's always a 'must see' for birders. They are so approachable and seem happy to get their pictures taken! RESPECTING NATURE while photographing it...

RonnF Senior Member More info | May 03, 2006 22:56 | #13 Terrific shots, Sindri. It was well worth your search!! All shots of the ducks are so sharp and colorful; they really show how beautiful these ducks are. And the water in #3 and #5 looks so real, it looks like its going to come pouring out of my monitor_and the ducks right along with it. Fantastic job!! IMG NOTICE: [NOT AN IMAGE URL, NOT RENDERED INLINE] All of them are very well done, but I really like this one. Harli's are such beautiful ducks and you have done them justice with this series! Were these all taken with the Bigma? I'm a sucker for duck and goose pics!!
