I like both pics showing its eyes closed and opened (must have been that 30D shutter going off....heheheh). I have been trying to photograph this bird for some time now. Caught one in flight last summer but it was too far away so the picture wasn't very good. From what I hear they tend to perch high up in trees. So do Great Horned owls but at least the owls are large enough to still get a good look at. Now, if I could just find Marc's house............
