This bird is common along the beach, pretty sure it's a sandpiper. I look in my books and can't determine what type. I find ones that are close but the legs are the wrong color, or the bill isn't the right length, feathers don't match, ect. So any help appreciated.

Here is one yesturday digging and eating sand crabs. Funny thing is all pictures appear like a painting I think, it's like the feathers are blurry or something.

It depends of the lens used and especially the aperture, any exif?

I guess it is a willet, thanks for the info! My reference books mentioned willets had a lot of grey, I don't see a lot of grey...........but I am sure that is it.

I don't think the pics are actually blurry, I have taken pics of this bird before. I think the feather pattern is unique in that they appear to be unreal, like a painting especially right in the middle of the body. All my images ever shot of this bird appear this way, just an observation.

All shot at 380mm and ISO100..........f/6.3, 1/800, and EV -0.33.

Very nice shots. Consider laying on the beach when shooting these birds to achieve a really soft background. This one was shot that way:

Keep up the good work. I like these.

Your exif looks good, you might be right about the bird`s feathers.
