I spent a couple of hours at Cincinnati Zoo last weekend. The sky was overcast the whole time, so the lighting wasn't the best.

1. I love the facial expression on this one. He (?) was quite a character.

2. By contrast, this one appeared to be quite content to watch the humans.

3. Sadly, not as sharp as I wanted, but I liked the framing with the stalks.

The first two were taken at ISO400, but by the third capture, the sky had gotten more overcast, so I dropped down to ISO800. I haven't done any PP, but looking at these on my work LCD, I can see that they might benefit from some contrast tweaking.

Hope you enjoy.

Gordon

Very nice shots. I love the expression on the Goriilas face on the first image.
