In a moment of Madness I purchased an old screw fit Soligor 400mm F6.3 recently -£15

But you can also use it as a basball bat.

For £15 you cann`t go wrong,you lost the detail on the face though,wonder if you shot it raw,you could get back some detail.

It's a nice photo. I'd lighten the bird's face a bit and run it through Neat Image.

I'm all for experimenting. It looks pretty good to me especially considering that you only spent 15 pounds on the lens. With little PP this could be a really nice shot. ;-)a

My garden is crawling with Goldfinches today, another on the washing pole (My Wife is looking at her washing nervously)

This time with a SIgma 70-200 f2.8 and a 2x EX converter
