great shot, i love the lighting, at first i thought it was too dark, but after looking at it, it grew on me, very well done

I do appreciate all feedback here. i do have sufficient shadow detail to make these evening shots lighter if that seems to be the trend. But it WAS evening and quite dark. Lions are night animals, at least these guys they just slept until the sun went down. And then the action started. Using the flash with the long lens you had no way of knowing where the combination was focused. Probably, with time and perseverance, a solution could be found.

This was not a zoo.
