i finally found some harlequin ducks today in glacier park, i spent about 20 minutes wading through a freezing river to get these, the water is run off from melting glaciers, i bet its not about 40 deg.
but it was worth it,,

Excellent shots. This is one of my favorite ducks. It was definitely worth wading through the freezing river to get photos like these. Well done indeed. :-)
