Beautiful shots of this bird, Paul. Image #1 is spectacular. Sharp, well exposed and colorful. Looks like it has very flexible "ankles" because in #1 it's right foot is at an angle to it's leg. Neat that you captured a banded one. Would you mind posting your EXIF for these shots and if they were handheld?

Cute little titmouse. They're so fun to watch and photograph. You did a good job with the capture, especially the 3rd one which nicely portrays its inquisitive nature.

All were taken in Av Mode ISO 200

1. 1/500 sec

2. 1/640 sec

3. 1/250 sec

..and all were shot using my Lowepro Mini-trekker as a rest.
