wire shadows on a sparrow

outside a small sparrow hangs on tight to get some nuts

:confused:

(taken from the kitchen window ..through glass )

it was ok :lol:
I just added accented edges
I liked his little eye in it and he had a nut in his beak
the evening sunshine was coming down the passage and shining on his head and thats how the wires are showing on his feathers

WOW! reminds me of one of the paintings by an old master. I wish I could think of the artists name, but I'm at a lose. It's a beautiful photo and renedering Marie. Another winner. :lol:

Thats the reason i said...an otherwise lost , Lots of shadows on his face,works much better the way you did it.;)

I had to think about this a while. So the shadows are really the subject? Nice use of the bird as a b/g. Has a "right brain" feel -- that's why I like it.

it helped to bring the shadows of the wires out
amazing how small the bird is yet the pattern of the wires fell on it like that
