I really thought I was beginning to nail this photography game. Then I spent the day at a wildlife park today and was REALLY disappointed with the results. The light didn't help. It was a sunny day but the clouds kept passing over. Anyway, heres some of the better ones of a bad day out. Any C&C and tips for the future much appreciated.

Don't be so hard on yourself. The lighting is your culprit here. These are not bad at all considering the lighting. #4 is spot on, the rest have some shadow issues but hey, what can you do!

sometimes the light is just not what we want it to be, don't take up embroidery... you'd just embroider something pretty and the first thing you'll do is go for your camera to take a picture of it...

I totally agree here with saravrose, I feel the same way. I took better pics when I had a point and shoot. Now there is so much more to think of, but once you get (and you will) think of all the cool shots you CAN get. BTW the pics posted here are good, I like them. Thanks for sharing.

P.S. I have for sale a husqvarna embroidery machine, If I sell it I can get some more gear:D LOL!!

Zacker, she said embroidery, that is needle and thread through a piece of fabric to make design. Crochet or knitting is what you are thinking of.
But I agree with you on the other part.

Greatest part of digital photography is you can take as many picture as you CF can handle and cost you nothing if you don't like them, so go out there and take some more. Remember not all are keepers.
