Love it, beautiful bird, really like the different hues of blue as the sunlight reflects off of the feathers. Maybe crop a little off the right?

Wonderful shot. I wish we had this species in the east...such wonderful color. Pose and composition and contrast of bird against the yellow/green BG all work nicely here.

There is alot of moss on those branches right now. :D
I did have the WB set to cloudy even though it was very sunny with just a little high clouds filtering the sunshine. Maybe that was a contributing factor.

On a seperate note, I shot this with the TC-DC58B in Av mode at F/5.0 at full focal length (632mm equiv). The shutter speed was 1/100sec... :cool::mrgreen:
