I just purchased 2x500w/s and 1x1000w/s Elinchrome strobes on eBay. I want to get at least one softbox and couple umbrellas for them, maybe couple of softboxes. I need an advice, logically maximum sizes of the softboxes are probably determined by the strength of the strobe, that's my thinking. Please, advice what sizes of the sotboxes should I use for the mentioned strobes, how about umbrellas?
Thanx in advance.

I'm certainly no expert, but I can answer what I know. I don't think in your case the power of the strobes would in any way limit what size softbox or umbrella you buy. They will be powerful enough to use almost any size. If I were you, I think the larger the better. Keep in mind also that you'll need the appropriate speed rings for the soft boxes.

Go here to check out the available ones for your lights:

i found those guys, I think I will go with their stuff. If the size won't limit me, i will get the big boys then.
Thanx

For headshots, 2x3 or 3x4 boxes. For full-length, 3x4 or larger.
