Just when I think it's all about the art, you come up with a real stunner of a capture. Great shot, Marie.

I didn't see what ate that chunk out of the pansy
but I did see some snails under the everlasting sweetpea shoots
.....they which are trying to bloom:(
I rooted the snails out

(and fried them )

just joking

if you gave me a million (of anything) I would not eat snails........
fried or otherwise
( hard enough just looking at them)

the weather has turned very windy wet and wintry in the past week
and the flowers ( + everything) is all muxed up

thank you very much Frank and Dimitry

"nice and crisp image but only the top half of the flower, very shallow DOF?"

):

Nice shot. You couldn't tell there was a ton of wind blowing. Fast shutter speed I assume?
