Nice shot. You couldn't tell there was a ton of wind blowing. Fast shutter speed I assume?

thanks Wizard
it was blowing really hard (as it is today, as it was yesterday )

I love that weather except for when taking shots of flowers in the garden
but I could not resist the pansies that day and their time is limited
(like a company)

as someone already mentioned they can look 'nothing' sometimes
and they deserve better
they are all crowding around (purple and yellow) in the border in the front garden
I never saw them look so nice other years

it was really hard focusing
I had the 500D on the Pro 1
the wind was swinging the pansies around and they seemed to be teasing me
I usually use manual for macro but I kept changing the settings as I could hardly see the flowers for blur

with the 500D on it takes ages to really concentrate, stand back more and focus correctly
it was faster then sound (whatever)
1/1600s f/4.0 at 50.8mm
I was glad to get anything sharpie

I got a few nice ones of the forget me nots (which are tiny) stuck in the corner of a pansy (blur) shot
now I am not sure ....was I taking the 'forget- me - nots' or the 'pansy'

the 'forget- me - nots' are insisting it was them

and don't they show it

:lol::mrgreen::lol:
