Fairly High on the Cuteness Scale,, A 5 Shot Series

Well it looks like this guy has moved in. Two years ago I saw 1 chipmunk once or twice in the summer. Last year 4...maybe 5 times. This year every day several times a day Here he is from yesterday...stealing peanuts I had put out for the Bluejays.

Canon 30D and 400mm F5.6

ISO 320 1/1250 F9 to 1/2500 F5.6 ( very liitle difference in exposure really)

Fantastic shots of a series of the chipmunk. I noticed Gary from since coming to this forum, that you take excellent good quality shots.

these are so sharp, almost like im looking through the cameras viewfinder. Even with my camera on a tripod, lens stopped down two or three stops from wide open, and at a low iso i cant seem to get this kind of quality. I really dont get it? great job on your shots
