Carol you've managed some nice captures here. The first 2 have good color and I like the pose on the first guy. Reflection adds nicely to the overall effect. # 3 however...For me, would need a Faster Shutter speed to clear up the head of the duck. All-in-all....WELCOME to the CLUB !:D :D :D

Good shots and I think you have done well with what you have done with the blurred third shot.
The first shot of the mallard is to the right of the picture which is good as you see where the mallard is swimming to.
Well done.

Thanks for the comments. I was disappointed that the 3rd one was out of focus . I checked and the shutter speed was too slow but I think I had the aperture opened all the way and the ISO at 400. Does anyone know what my alernative would have been other than a better lens? I tried to make it look kind of like a watercolor. Thanks for the encouragement!
