Here is the activity going on in the flower bed right outside of my front window.

These were taken this morning.

There are a total of 5 eggs now. She is only there in the morning long enough to drop off an egg and recover the nest.

She showed up last Saturday, for the first few days there was a male with her. Now I only see her.

Bless her!
Right outside your home, brililant. All three very good shots. Good to see the eggs in the third one.

Looks like a happy duck. Nice detail - I especially like the second one.

She was blessed to have you protecting her home. Must be a loving family you have there. Otherwise they won't choose your front yard.
Keep us posted.

As of this morning there are now 7 eggs. I would expect any day now for her to start staying on them.

Up to 8 eggs now. She spent most of the day on her eggs, she was gone by time I got home.

I believe she is here to stay. She has been sitting on her eggs all day and has not left yet. She has built the mulch up around her eggs so it now looks more like a nest. Before she would just cover the eggs and leave.

Here are a few photos from tonight taken with my new 50mm 1.8

She has been sitting on her eggs non stop for the past few days. I even mowed the lawn and edged yesterday and she didn't even move.

I just ran out to my car and saw this.

She must have stepped out for a potty break. Usually when she leaves she covers her eggs real good.

A couple of weeks I should have some duckling photos to share.
