Very good shots, all of them. The wasp image is excellent, very clear and good colour.

Don't know what the insect is on the first image though.

The insect in the first image is a Shield Bug, or at least that's what I have always know them as. They may have a more official name.

:D It's very much a natural pond (no fish) and I try to let it 'evolve' as it would in the wild. But I fear the forgspawn I saw a few months back may not have developed due to the pond being covered with the stuff.

The pond area is by far the best place in our garden to take shots of insects, every one of the above shots were taken in or around it.
