groundhog caught "out"

I was driving home from the school where I work and spotted this guy on the side of the road. He kept running and looking back, sorry he didn't have a hole to dive into.

Not like me who missed a capture of a badger crossing the road last week.

I`d heard of groundhogs before but i had never seen one,at least now i know how it looks like,thanks for sharing Joe.

Dmitri: They're interesting creatures, also known as woodchucks. I saw one crawl along on its belly once--guess that's where they get the groundhog name. It's amazing how fast they can move that way.
