Here is an interesting scene taken at the local duck pond earlier this week. Seems these two really did not like the one in front. They are not the best in quality, straight from the camera, only cropped them. Enjoy, let me know what you think

every time i go down the the local park i see that, its kind of odd how they mate, there are usually about 4 males on a fem. here though, i thought of taking pics of it but just never did.. intresting to watch... i call it the local gang bang

webejamn is right about the mating habits of mallards, several males will often gang up on one female, and there are records of females actually being drowned this way.

But in the above pictures they're all males!
