Very good first image to display on the forum. The Kookaburra is a beautiful bird from the family of Kingfishers.

Nice pictures.

I saw one 'in the flesh' for the first time a couple of weeks ago (in a local bird sanctaury) and was surprised at how big they are.


Don't procrastinate if you can put it off 'til tomorrow!

And cheeky too...I've had one fly past and steal a sandwich out of my hand. Frightened the daylights out of me.

Very nice photo, I did not realize they were so light colored. Only one problem with this shot: no sound!
