Another one from my trip to the Wildlife Park - sorry can't remember what it is. I thought the square crop worked best - what do you think? The rest of the pic was just more grass.

Nice picture.

It's a Grey Crowned Crane (used to be called a Southern Crowned Crane) and is a resident of southern Africa.

Which wildlife park did you see him in?

its a striking shot but a shame the grass is so busy around the bird as he would stand out great with cleaner surroundings .

Wildlife park near me?

The only ones I can think of are: Woburn Safari Park and Linton Zoo. Is it one of them?
