a couple of very nice shots great background blur and the delicut flower makes a great perch i really like No1 the best simple yet stunning.

Wonderful pose and composition...colors and exposure come together nicely.
I would love to see one of these but I think we are north of their range...you never know!

Thank you all for the kind words. Right now, there are so many of these migrating through the Katy Prairie that you can shoot a lot and only save the very best. I believe I will make a big print of #2.

Mike, We've got lots of them here in our area too. I've got lots of captures as well. Your #2 is fantastic. You should be very pleased. I agree they make great subjects. Now that I've see yours, I have to go out again. You have raised the bar:D
