I like the shot Clare for the composition, pose, the clawss showing on the outside and the perch. I am not sure about the BG...did you do something here? If it was mine I would lighten it slightly ( -10 % shadows) auto contrast and remove 10 % saturation. Gary Fairhead C/C welcome .....

May 07, 2006 18:14 | #7 I think this is a very well composed photograph because of the angle the tree trunk makes and the turn of his head, as well as the claws protruding. Of course, the brilliant color and crisp focus help also. Additionally, you can never have too much green in the background. Very nicely done. MIKEIVAN
