Thieving little.......

Sod ! Following on from chemicalbro`s thread I too put out fat balls for the birds. As I work regularly, and not at home, I was under the impression that the birds were eating them and at a great rate. That was until recently when I caught the real culprit. How that thin branch supported the weight is beyond me but I reckon a new location needs to be found.

Amazing how the squirrel's can balance themselves right at the end of a branch? more like a twig!, to get what they want, however it's made an excellent shot for you. I would be more than pleased with a shot like that. The image pops out with good light, clarity and colour.

Great catch, but I know it was not what you wanted to see. I was watching for birds around the location where my father-in-law puts out bird seed this past Saturday. Late in the evening, I got a shot of three ground squirrels on the feeder. They can sure pack it away.
