But the 1st shot does look like some kind of finch, though. ...Leo

These are very familiar birds in the uk, so familiar that a lot of people don't really bother with them, and with these two superb shots details become apparent that we don't normally see. Don't procrastinate if you can put it off 'til tomorrow!
