Answer seems to be five, at least in in Singapore. - I guess we have a number of Forum members who can id the bird.

(Somebody might think this should be posted in Birds, but for me it was obvious that Urban Life is the right forum, as the birds were truly utilizing all the opportunities a buzzling city can provide.)

I think they are Mynah birds - a kind of crow/ jackdaw type bird. In many parts of the world they are considered pests, they actually make good pets and can become excellent mimics, talking and imitating sounds perfectly. Looks like they get plenty of food.

Steve, thanks for this info. You reminded me of my old friend, who about 15 year ago in Bangkok has this bird as a pet, and he (the bird) was a funny fellow, talking a lot!

It might look like six, but the one standing on the table was the only one eating, while the rest were watching and quarding (or maybe trying to find the waitress to clean the table). :D:D

They're probably just thinking "Does anyone know where the napkins and tomato sauce are?" ;)

In Singapore they are mostly serving chili sauce - and that is much better that tomato sauce. :p

Looks like even the birds are being drawn in by fastfood capitalism. Great capture.
