Tried again and today it works. I must have caught the server when it was doing a backup or something. Quite cool as you see a bit more than in a photo

When I get better with Premiere and After Effects I'll be sure to kill the wobble. I tried using AE with it but I don't think I quite have it down yet.

No need to kill the wobble in post production, kill it in the field. Get a steady cam rig. Can't afford one DIY.

They are actually not that big. Just a handle with some counter weight.

Yeah, I have a few photos to post from a trip to Falls Creek. Unfortunately I am just in the process of upgrading to a new computer. Spending all my waking hours reloading software.

I will send him on (or back in this case) very shortly, as I am not getting enough opportunity to utilise him as much as I had hoped.

All good, Mark. Take your time. I've hosted it before and I'm sure Austen is in no rush... :p

Before Christmas is fine.

The First Nifty that I had sent off to ROBUK last October arrived at my house today!! Apparently, the US Postal Service does not know what they are doing. Nifty has been STUCK IN CUSTOMS waiting for someone to post his Bail. But no one told anyone.. :p:p:p

Nifty checking out the orange flowers and the bees...

NIfty seems fine, just a bit cranky from being boxed up and traveling back and forth across the ocean..
This means that we can give the Adroma_Nifty (Canada) back to Canada and have the additional Nifty travel here in the US.
Now that is money well spent! ;)

Joayne picking up the slack. Nice!

Neither rain nor sleet nor gloom of night... but incompetence--now that's a formidable foe.

It made it to the UK on 10/20/2011, mailed on 10/14/2011..
There are all kinds of stickers .. which are now all blacked out, but at least it didn't get trashed and I got it back...

SO .. _arvena, you have the Canadian Adorama Nifty.. It's time for Canada to have their lens back and I'll get this out to someone here in the US next week depending on who answers the call.. I'll keep you all updated.

Sweet! Glad to hear it was only wrapped up in red tape and not lost forever.

Well that's good news! Sad news that the postal service can be so incompetent, but nice to know that nifty is still with us. Thanks again for all your work Joyane.
