I think there has been two changes since the last list and that is that Euro Nifty has moved from Germany to the Netherlands and I believe Charlie Harper now has the Dupan Nifty.

Am I right, Joayne?

At present we would like anyone wishing to host have at least a 200 post count or have been active on POTN for a year. Hopefully this will reduce the number of people that do not participate in a timely manner, or "forget" to move Nifty on to the next host, or simply don't care.

Awesome place!!
Love the pictures and the tale!
Hope you didn't get caught in the storm

What a great place. No wonder you weren't the only photographer there!
Great shots!

It is a great place. There are places similar to this one in Georgia but they are locked down tighter than Tupperware. Too much of a liability I am sure but hey, you take a risk and sometimes it pays off. Maybe I can find some more places like that here before I send Nifty on it's way. Gotta have some work done to the car today hopefully. I think I might have a clogged fuel filter. At least I hope that's all it is. Got pictures of the car loaded down too...

Kinda scary I drove it as far as I did that way... but it's back to it's original shape now that I have all that junk off and out of it. The straps crushing the front and rear bumpers worried me but they are back to normal now.

[CENTER]Abandoned Church Continued

...

And that was pretty much it for the self guided tour of this church. All in all it was a GREAT visit and I am glad I went when I did. There were no riff raff or violent people around. Just other exploring photographers with the same goals as I had. get some spectacular photos before the snow started falling again.

I took more photos and I will post them as soon as I get them processed but so far these were my favorites from that location with the Nifty.

Love that first one of the chair on the stage in B&W.

Yeah, I have LOTS of ideas for black and white with these photos. Can't wait to get to them and start doing some real editing. I'm still unpacking and moving stuff around.

I also enjoyed pinball machines.
Actually I was in a windsurfing shop on Saturday, and they had one as decoration in the shop. It was called the Adams Family. Looked like fun, but wasn't turned on.

I used Nick collection for the HDR merge.. it is easy to use, and seems to do a pretty good job without halos etc.

I know that game hahahahaha!

Peter, Love this stations series..Always interesting to see!

I use NIK also.. You can get halos if you want ;), but Yes it is easy and you have a lot of control over
color and the general look of the HDR..

Good to see EU headed back to Denmark later this year ;) This time I hope you'll show us Denmark :)
It was a great trip through the US though!

Finally got a new (to me) camera ordered! I suppose I'll throw my name back on the list again.

Ok.. This next station is my absolute favourite here in Munich. (And for a good many other photographers). Unfortunately when I was there, another photo group was swarming over the place like ants. Tripods and camera toting photo nerds all over the place! (I guess I was one of those). Anyway enough to annoy me and make me skip the station. When I came back I didn't have any time to get some good images with Nifty. I did one Panorama with it.. then the rest here were some quick snaps with the 10-20.
The3 station is Westfriedhof. Translated means the West Cemetary.

Wow. Gorgeous station, Peter. And wonderful shots of it.
I have to say that if there were a contest for which country has the most beautiful train/subway stations, the winner would be Germany.
