Updated - removed Urbanfreestyle & Timphoto. I'll continue to follow, but will post elsewhere with my new STM version of nifty.

---------------
At present we would like anyone wishing to host have at least a 200 post count or have been active on POTN for a year. Hopefully this will reduce the number of people that do not participate in a timely manner, or "forget" to move Nifty on to the next host, or simply don't care.

* Though, this doesn't seem to alter the fact that people tend to forget to send Nifty on and tend to post very little... with some exceptions!

To sign up to be a host, please copy the list completely, add your name to the bottom of the sub-list that is your area of the world, paste the entire list into a new post with your name added..

You can take me off the list too as i now have 2 niftys, I was hoping to get one of these and show people the world here but it's taking a long time to progress. I will stay subbed to see what other people offer though.

Hey guys you can take me off the list... I have recently bought the newer version of the nifty fifty and don't want to take the chance away from someone else to get to use this great little lens. Enjoy!

The idea is not to have a Nifty to use for yourself. I believe the original premise of this endeavor was to use a few good but cheaply made lens to travel around the world and show us all the little corners of the world they've visited by (here comes the hard part) posting photos you take with the traveling Nifty.

In saying that I've been thinking of moving my name down the list as I haven't been shooting much myself but maybe that will change when I get my new/used car next week. I've been stymied by my gas guzzling truck (8 - 10 MPH) to keep my traveling down to the bare minimum after work. So maybe with a vehicle that gets better gas mileage I'll be more interested in going out and shoot some photos. We'll see.

I think it's sad. :-(
There have been some great hosts and some not so great hosts since I got involved a couple of years ago.
But, there was normally at least one who was posting images most of the time.

LOL. Yeah, like a Rorschach test. Cool shot though, Joeseph.

Thanks Levina, It was quite foggy yesterday morning so I though it would make for some interesting park shots, sadly the fog had lifted by the time I got to where I needed to be for the day.
Something else I noticed, that the once quite peaceful park had a huge railway station building at one end of it (it wasn't there last time I had a camera at the park!)

THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

I did post some of the images from my trip to Windsor. Here are some more.
It was a dull and miserable day with low light.

They were taken down by the River Thames which flows between Windsor and Eton.

All the swans belong to the Queen.

This was a lady who was feeding the swans. She had several big bags of bread! It was a bit like watching the Pied Piper as they followed her along the river.

Near the river are some gardens where there is a fountain designed and built for the Queen's Diamond (60th) Jubilee in 2012.

This is a sign giving information about the fountain design and the area of land where the Jubilee Fountain is.
The fountain is in it's own little area of the Goswells surrounded by fences and hedges.
