In preparation for the re-shoot tomorrow, I thought I would calibrate my lenses. Never really bothered with this previously but seeing I've got the time off, I thought I would give it a shot.

Most of my lenses were fairly spot on, probably the most out was the 24-105 which is to be expected.

DUPAN nifty, on the other hand required +17 on my 6D, maybe I could have gone a little bit more.

This was the result:

This was the set-up.

This shot was taken with my original Canon camera, a 350D (Rebal or Kiss) depending on your part of the world. There have been a few bodies come & go since this camera but it is still going strong. Was handed over to my son who uses it occasionally.

Canon 350D, Dupan Nifty ISO 400 F13 1/80 twin bounced off camera Canon 580EX fired by Skyport triggers.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

2 heart surgeries!?!?!?! Sorry to hear that! That's a real bummer! I hope they got everything squared away for you.

I believe I am next on the list to get Nifty. If you want I can PM you my address and you can send it this way.

Evening all.

Nifty has been on holiday in the South Island, taken a few photo's but unfortunately, fell ill and has succumb to the ailment.

RIP Nifty. Passed away in Picton, New Zealand 27 November 2015.

I will be talking to a friendly photographic supplier tomorrow about adopting a new family member and will let you know how we go.

I have some earlier images to post but will let the loss set in prior to processing them.

RIP DUPAN NIFTY
