On it's way to Cameraman. Hope you have a lot of fun with it.......

I find it funny how everyone just disappeared once the lens arrived.

At present we would like anyone wishing to host have at least a 200 post count or have been active on POTN for a year. Hopefully this will reduce the number of people that do not participate in a timely manner, or "forget" to move Nifty on to the next host, or simply don't care.

* Though, this doesn't seem to alter the fact that people tend to forget to send Nifty on and tend to post very little... with some exceptions!

To sign up to be a host, please copy the list completely, add your name to the bottom of the sub-list that is your area of the world, paste the entire list into a new post with your name added.

USA Nifty
(Big Island, Hawaii) Ron Bailey (in possession Get Well Soon and please send Nifty along to the next person)
(NC) PeteD (Sending to CameraMan)
(GA) CameraMan
(KS) ksbal
(RI) Archer1960
(MI) BlakeC
(Orlando FL) Justman1020 (No Response, moved to bottom of the list)
(DFW TX) itsallart
(CO) KbColorado
(UT) tadrscin
(Chicago IL) KurtB
(Hawaii) ChrisBlaze (deployed, but on the list!)
(Buffalo, NY) KenjiS – (moved down the list, too busy)

EURO Nifty
(UK) NullMind (in possession... Hello? Time to Move Nifty along!)
(The Netherlands) Levina de Ruijter
(Belgium) LollieLaurie (no response)
(Italy) Rob612 (moved down, too busy)

Adorama Nifty: (The newest member of the Nifty travelers for the Canadians-eh?)
(BC) Kasrielle

DUPAN Nifty
(Auckland - NZ) Mark Vuleta (in possession and New Owner)
(Ararat Victoria) – gutterscum
(Kandahar-Afghanistan) Bk2life (james)
(Cebu-Philippines or Hong Kong) Reservoir Dog

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

As you can see I've taken the liberty to update the list a bit. If I omitted anyone I'm sorry. It can be fixed.

I've also sent a PM to Ron Bailey and asked him to send his Nifty on to the next person in line. But if I receive it then I will send it on to the next person. At any rate I hope it gets moved on soon so we can get these 2 lenses moving in the US once again.

October 21: NullMind pm's me that he will send Nifty to me "this week"

November 24: I pm NullMind to remind him that he didn't send Nifty to me that week.

January 19: My pm is still unread and NullMind has not been active here since October 21... So, I went to his website and left a message there. Fingers crossed.

that seems an awful long timeframe...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

I don't get it either. Especially since he pm'd me that he would send it to me that week.

I don't think he did. If you look at his posts on here, you will see him advertising his Canon gear which doesn't include the nifty.

I've sold lenses and not put them on the forum. I guess we will have to get ahold of him and ask. o wait...

Nifty is here. Weather is kinda crummy at the moment. We're not expecting to see snow down by me but if we do it will be minimal. I'll get photos of our rare snow accumulation if there is any.

It's supposed to clear up by Sunday.
