We bought a double wide when we bought the property and it is to code. :)

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

What does that mean? It's not a term we use here.

Our home is manufactured in a different location and moved here by a truck. It had 2 axles and wheels when it was delivered. Some call them trailer homes. It's still a house no matter how or where it was built.

Basically, a single wide home is usually 24 feet wide or there about. A double wide is like 2 single wides. And it's 80' long so it's a pretty big house.

Sounds like a very big house!

5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, living room, den, kitchen, dining room, laundry room.

At the time we bought it we had my father in law, sister in law, my daughter, and the wife and I living here. So we needed a big house to accommodate all of us. Now we have 2 empty rooms.

Heh, Yeahhhhhh... No. :)

I need to save some money for this project I'm working on. Who knows, maybe I'll develop it into a photo studio. I have enough space to build one.

That sounds like the right priority. Build the studio. Then fill it with camera gear.

Trever Canon 7D, 24-70 F2.8L ii, Sigma 10-20 1:4-5.6 DC HSM, and a bunch of other little stuff to make light sorta work. Deviant (external link)

So, I'm going to be doing a little bit on this per day (weather permitting) now that I am feeling better.

Today's goal was to get all of the wood out of the shed and get it stacked on my wood pile.

The pallet leaning against the tree is what the wood was piled on. Pulling it over to the wood pile was actually a good idea. Half the wood made it over there. That was less wood I had to throw in the back of the truck.

While finishing up I saw this laying in the yard... I now know why my dog likes to stay outside a lot more than usual...

I'm thinking this might be the skull of a dog or something.

Did I miss something? Are we having a moment of silence for the nifty that Ron Bailey still has? :)

Seems like I've been the only one posting photos but that's cool.

My plans for tomorrow (weather permitting) is to do a time lapse of me tearing down the shed with my truck and a chain. I'm not tearing it all down but I do want to remove the section that's already collapsed.

I've pretty much dispose of any trash that was in there. All that's left are the bikes, lawnmower and a few odds and ends. I sold an old transmission that was on the floor and that will help purchasing stuff I need to rebuild once I have everything torn down and out of the way.

My original plan was to have the fire department do a controlled burn but then I remembered there is a direct feed from the main electrical panel at the pole to the main part of the shop which is still standing. Burning it down would probably destroy the wiring and the pvc piping coming up from the ground. So I'll just have to knock it down. That'll be more fun anyway I think. :)
