Yes indeed - my favourite local park (especially in winter when it gets fewer people)
I know what you mean about work, gets quite frustrating at times that even though you're out & about, you don't have time to stop & enjoy the view far less photograph it.

Cool, I must have been walking around there around one year ago. The trees were quite impressive in size and variety. There were even some (planted) Sequoia trees :)

Had me a brewski last night. A great one from my home town. I miss Chicago sometimes!

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

I will probably be boxing up ol' Nifty tonight and send it on it's way tomorrow. It's been fun but I kind of wish I had more time with it. Maybe next time.

Just got done tearing down that ramshackle building. I need to clean up the pad a bit and burn off all the rubble but I'll get another shot of the location before I send off nifty. Just to get a little closure with it before it goes on it's way.

I was going to do a whole time lapse of it coming down but the battery in my timer switch was dead. I ned to find a timer switch that takes AA / AAA batteries because these little watch batteries are junk.

If you have a smart phone, there are actually apps out there with intervolometers and such. All you have to buy is the app and a cable if you do not have it......

I'd rather find a switch that uses regular batteries. The voltage should be about the same as the watch battery the one I have now uses.

And it's gone. Now I need to save up again for the wood I need to build a new shed/workshop. I'm thinking the spot where the bicycles and lawn mower are now will be a storage area. The longer pad will be a workshop/photo studio. I may pour more concrete so I can make the storage section as long as the workshop so I can have one nice long building rather than having an L shaped one. You may notice I had to trim back a few tree limbs. They were touching the ground when the building came out from under them. Those trees are going bye-bye this summer but I still needed to trim them back so I could get in there and clean it up a bit for a photo. :)

Anyway, I've packaged up Nifty and it will be on it's way to ksbal today. As soon as I'm off the top of the list I'll put my name back on the list.

Nifty is on its way to ksbal. Left it at home Monday and didn't get the chance to send it out yesterday.

At present we would like anyone wishing to host have at least a 200 post count or have been active on POTN for a year. Hopefully this will reduce the number of people that do not participate in a timely manner, or "forget" to move Nifty on to the next host, or simply don't care.

* Though, this doesn't seem to alter the fact that people tend to forget to send Nifty on and tend to post very little... with some exceptions! To sign up to be a host, please copy the list completely, add your name to the bottom of the sub-list that is your area of the world, paste the entire list into a new post with your name added.

Question...

How does shipping work? Does the person who has it just pay to ship it to the next person?
