I know the feeling. I haven't had any time to get out with mine either. Weather has been bad and so have my allergies. I'm hoping to get out with it on Saturday and Sunday. Fingers crossed!

Are we sure that the next people on the list are actually ready to host? I think some of the people on the list haven't posted in this thread for years.

I'll be finding this out soon enough. I've been so busy I haven't even been able to log in here at POTN. It's supposed to rain all week thus week so I'm thinking there is no point in holding onto this lens.

I've already sent a message to the next person on the list. They haven't been on in a few months either. If I don't get a response I'll head in to the next person until and then the next. If no one will take it then I will contact Joayne.

I'd really love to take this lens out and put it thru it's paces but with my work schedule and the weather, it's near impossible.

Again, sorry for the slow down.

Update: I have moved to the next person on the list (kenjiS). If I don't hear anything soon I will move to the next person on the list.

ScottyZ - no response to unseen message sent on Monday.

KenjiS - message sent early this morning.

Since the present hosts are somewhat quiet I thought I would follow Tim's good example and post some shots taken with retired EU Nifty.
I never showed you Amsterdam's Central Station. I have some 8 shots to upload.

The Central Station was remodelled and the result is quite beautiful. It's all glass it seems. And the roof is amazing.

Approaching the Station. This is the rear of the station.
As you can see the roof covers a lot of ground. From the bicycle path on the right to bus stops on the first level, cars in the viaduct below. And then it stretches into the station itself.

As I said, this is the rear of the building, to the right is the IJ river. I took much better shots of it but those were taken with the Samyang 14mm, so this will have to do.

Getting closer. The red on the roof spells AMSTERDAM
You can read it from a great distance. I never took a shot of that...

Great decision, Levina.
It crossed my mind too to take out my own Nifty and just shoot but I would have to ask Joayne first, I suppose.

BTW, killer avatar, Levina...I remember that scene in the shower!

Inside the station:

You can get to the buses from outside, but also from inside the station via this escalator.
