Still out of town but I had my brother in law ship out nifty. I gave him the address and he says it went out today. Should arrive by Monday or Tuesday.

I was not expecting this all to happen. It's been a difficult couple of weeks.

I'm waiting to get the tracking number. As soon as he sends it I'll let you know.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

So, back in May there was a small travelling fair on a little square nearby. I didn't have Nifty with me but decided to go back the next day to shoot some stuff with Nifty and keep the shots for a rainy day. It seems to me it's quite rainy in here, so here are some fun shots. It was hot and sunny so light was difficult. Just think of the pics as snapshots, okay?

This is the regular flower stall. Fair or not, Patrick wasn't going to move an inch!

It was a small fair with attractions mostly for (small) children. Like this slow going merry-go-round.

Kiddies were having fun! Some dads were overly concerned and climbed in with their kids... :-P

There was also this attraction for the not too young. It looked very impressive.

Not sure how this is called in English. A type of merry-go-round with swings. For the younger kids so it went round gently with swings not swinging out very far.

Inspired by Levina's recent posts, I dragged retired nifty along on a errand to a nearby winery that is known for its lavender garden. It was the wrong time of day, and there's a smoke in the air from a 7,000 acre fire wildfire burning north of us.
