I had a long break in posting but that doesn't mean that I wasn't shooting with Nifty.
Last weekend Nifty and I ventured out to League City, TX (external link), over 4 hours away from my place.
I know that some of you may cringe at me for shooting while driving but I can assure you I was really safe. The distance was set to almost infinite, narrow aperture and fast SS to ensure that whatever I was going to shoot blindly will somehow turn out OK. Some of the shots didn't but some were good enough for posting.
The weather was pretty ugly, the light was just as ugly too.
@ shots on I45 approaching Houston I saw miles of trains just sitting on tracks and going to nowhere. I still haven't figured out why they were there. Perhaps for some refineries down the road but I'm not quite sure.
Farther down the road the Houston skyline appeared on the right.

And even farther down the road I saw some refineries but there was absolutely no way of stopping to take shots. So I shot what I could :)

I had a chance to shoot the refineries a minute later, still cut off but this is as good as it gets.
