...and hopefully many more to go! Was out with Wayne and Stephen Sunday morning at a very "alive" Petrie Island. This is probably the same Yellow-Rumped individual that Wayne posted earlier, but had to share it anyhow (warblers have that effect on birders:rolleyes: ). This species is the most abundant of warblers and one of the earliest to arrive here...signalling the start of a sure-to-be exciting birding season!

1/1600s, f/8, ISO400, -1/3 EC.

Very beautifully presented Dan, Great colors and detail on the bird, nice clean perch and the sky is perfect. Nice to see the Warblers are returning:D I take it Petrie is drying out some.

Very nice as usual Dan ! I hope the spring warbler migration meets your expectations,I've read so much about the decline of migrating birds.

Super shot ... we just had some Yellow-Rumped passing through, along with Palm and Black-Throated Blue ... what a great time of year.

cheers,

Well done. Love the colors, especially the touch of yellow on the wing tops...The deep blue sky works well here also.
