Anyone else having a problem seeing these pics? They showed up for me at first, but now I get red Xs.

They work for me. Nice captures. I like the third one best. Numbers 1 and 5 look a little flat.

Yeah, the glare and haze was a bit much on the first one, but I wanted to include it for the narrative's sake. The last one is probably the fault of my Photoshop skills...I am still getting the hang of doing levels manually.

I know what you mean. I just got Kelby's book and so far have learned a lot. If you haven't bought it yet you may want to check it out.

Actually, I just found out that it wasn't an eel...it's a siren.

Great series of this heron catching the siren, thanks for the ID.
I like the flight shot with it's catch.

You know, I never did see him actually swallow the siren. He kept messing with it, shaking it around, then finally flew off. Maybe he was looking for another heron to share it with. :D

Very nice series, those GBH's are good hunters. I think they have trouble killing their prey. I've seen them twice with big golphers clamped in their beaks.

Very nice captures, especially the second shot. I do believe that you could enhance the third shot. They are also great for behavior shots. Keep up the good work.
