More info | What I can discern from his chest feathers that arent wet and whatever is that he is a red shouldered or broad wing. We dont really have all that many species of hawks around here. Too bad you only have the one angle.

Even so, the legs looks pretty "thick" which make me wonder. You should post this on birdforum.net in the ID section - those guys know everything. LazyPhotographer: One who uses a telephoto lens to shoot pictures out the car window or from a balcony.
