This is very nice with nice color relecting off the water. Light seems a bit harsh but not that bad.

Try using the shadow/highlights in CS to reduce some highights.

Hi Donna,
I think it is a nice picture but it seemed that the yellow was a little overwhelming. Since you have that imaging editing is OK, I figured I would try. I am no expert but do you think this looks better? I added a little blue to midtones and made the highlights a little darker. Of course, it could be my monitor!

I am a total sucker for backgrounds that look watercolored on, as though an artist brushed them in. In that vein, I like the altered image posted later better than the original. I actually think if you dropped mid-range levels to darken the image a bit overall it would add drama. Composition of original? Top marks in any class I teach! Color saturation? I bit over the top. I like the composition so much I wish I'd taken it. :grin:

The altered image does improve on an already beautiful photo. Very nice!
