POTN Powershot Speed Challenge #18 - Flowers

Challenge #18 is Flowers. April showers bring May Flowers; lets see some flowers. Quality, composition and creativity will be a contributing factor on how this challenge will be judged. Flowers don't have to be the only subject in the picture, but it must be the primary part of the picture. Good luck; I know you will make my job difficult.

To submit, click "Post Reply" and put your Photo Name in the Subject Line. Don't forget your Camera Model.

Post until Monday noon GMT, [May 15, 2006].

I Don't Know What These Are Called

Hi everyone, I'm glad I have something for this week's comp!

IMAGE: http://static.flickr.com/50/143660002_9f2202aa19_o.jpg

EXIF: 1/60 : f/4.1 : 29.7mm (474mm 35mm Equiv) : ISO 50

Shot in aperture priority mode, using a Lensmate adapter, Cokin A filter holder & +4 dioptre close up filter (macro mode not used with this setup) - onboard flash fired for fill in.

I love this combination for macro photography - you get incredibly shallow depth of field, and nice bokeh (in my opinion, anyway).
