I went out this afternoon after work to test my new 30D which was delivered yesterday. I went to my favorite RWB spot but they must have seen me coming because they were either hiding on me or keeping their distance. But I did manage to get a couple of shots of a female RWB who got a little closer to me (but still not close enough for a full-frame shot). And the late afternoon light wasn't all that great either.

But I did promise IanD a shot with the 30D and 300 f/2.8 + 2x TC combo. So here it is.

Excellent shot. Love the pose and composition. Sharp with beautiful bokeh. Congratulations on the new 30D. :-)

Best regards

Very nice shot, would have preferred to see it in a full 800 pixels in width.
