I went for a trip with my son today and managed to get a few shots of some of our locals here in Brisbane. Any critique welcome.

They are very cuddly. Also lucky to get a shot of one with thier eyes open as these little guys sleep between 18 and 20 hrs a day and tend to be active mostly at night.

Makes me want to visit Australia some day.
I would love to see these animals in the habitat they belong to.

Incredible how Koala's can sleep like that up a tree!
Good shots on them all.

That is a very peculiar look on the koala's face in the first photo.

They certainly look and feel cuddly but don't pester them too much. A couple of years ago a friend and I were trying to move one off the road. The koala wasn't too keen on being touched and my friend ended up with some pretty decent scratches across his forearm. Those claws aren't just for climbing trees.

They look cute but try to cuddle one in the wild and they'll rip you into bits..... see those long claws.....

very nice shots. I like the coloring in the 2nd Koala shot.

Have you tried PP the other two and increasing the sturation a bit? I bet it will really make those pictures pop!

Thank you everyone for all the comments. As for the post processing, I have only just managed to get a copy of Adobe CS2 and as yet don't know how to use it. I think I have a bit of study time ahead but I will endeavour to fiddle with them (pics) and see what I can come up with.
